Retreat Overview
Our Moroccan retreat begins in Casablanca and takes you to the sacred city of Fes before journeying north to the serene blue town of Chefchaouen — a path through some of Morocco’s most spiritually resonant and visually breathtaking landscapes.

Along the way, you’ll experience the deep spiritual heritage of Fes, with guided visits to its ancient medina, sacred sites, and circles of knowledge. You’ll explore the legacy of nearby Meknes and Zerhoun, connect with tradition through hands-on cultural experiences, and unwind in the calm beauty of Chefchaouen’s mountain setting. The journey concludes with a visit to the iconic Hassan II Masjid in Casablanca - a powerful moment of reflection at one of the most remarkable mosques in the world.

With travel between cities by private transport, you’ll witness Morocco’s rich diversity - from historic imperial cities to peaceful mountain landscapes. Though the pace of the trip is full and immersive, space is carved out throughout for rest, prayer, journaling, and connection. Expect moments of stillness and awe, laughter and learning, and a deepened sense of presence as you journey with a group of like-hearted Muslim women.

Who Is This Retreat For?
This retreat is for Muslim women aged 18+ from around the world. Perfect for those seeking a soulful blend of spiritual exploration, cultural immersion, and meaningful connection - all within a safe, supportive, and faith-aligned environment.

A moderate level of physical fitness is required as the itinerary involves a decent amount of walking, a waterfall hike and moderate travel stamina.

Accommodation

Stay in beautiful, traditional riads in Fes and Chefchaouen (4 star) exclusively reserved for our group, offering comfort, tranquility, and an authentic Moroccan experience throughout your journey. All rooms are twin share with en-suite bathroom so you will be paired with another retreat lady. Single room upgrades can be requested and are subject to availability and are an extra charge.

Guests will benefit from enriching Islamic classes and reminders with Sheikh El Hajj Hisham Mahmoud, offering practical insights, spiritual reflection, and timeless guidance to help you return home renewed in faith and purpose.

Prices are listed in Great British Pounds, but you can pay in your local currency upon checkout. Secure your place with a deposit and enjoy flexible payment plans, available in up to 4 instalments. Full payment is due by 7 September 2026 (45 days before the retreat).

Non-Refundable Deposit

- Upon registration, the retreat deposit is strictly non-refundable. No exceptions apply to this portion, as your deposit secures essential services and accommodations.


General Refund and Cancellation Terms

- Strictly Non-Refundable Payments: All payments made toward your booking are strictly non-refundable, as we pay vendors and service providers upfront to deliver a seamless experience. We are not responsible for additional travel costs or any consequential expenses incurred due to a cancellation.

- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made 40 days or fewer before the start date are non-refundable in full due to the non-recoverable costs paid to our vendors and service providers.

- Replacement Policy: If you cannot attend, it is your responsibility to find someone to take your spot, as we do not offer refunds. Any arrangements and transfer of payment must comply with our registration terms.

Day 1 - Arrival

Arrival in Morocco and Journey to Fes

Your journey begins in Casablanca, where you will meet your fellow travellers and be welcomed by our team. After a group lunch, we begin our journey to the spiritual heart of Morocco, Fes. As we travel through changing landscapes, allow yourself to settle into the rhythm of the retreat and the intention behind this journey.

By evening, we arrive in Fes and check into our beautiful riad, reserved exclusively for our group. After Maghrib, we will gather for a warm welcome dinner followed by our opening Sakinah program, a moment to ground ourselves, connect as sisters, and set our intentions for the days ahead.

Day 2 - Fes City

Exploring the Sacred Medina

After Fajr and a nourishing breakfast, we begin our day with a Sakinah intention setting talk to centre the heart. We then step into the timeless medina of Fes, one of the world’s oldest living cities, where every alley carries stories of scholarship and devotion.

Guided by Shaykh El Hajj Hisham Mahmoud, we will visit sacred sites and the resting places of the awliya, reconnecting with Morocco’s deep spiritual legacy. We will pause for Jumuah prayer before continuing our guided walking tour, taking in the beauty, history, and energy of this remarkable city. We return to our riad for rest, reflection, and an evening at ease.

Day 3 - Life in Fes

Knowledge, Reflection and Culture

This morning begins with a class led by Shaykh Hisham, offering space to deepen your understanding and connection to faith. After lunch, the afternoon is yours whether you choose to unwind with an optional traditional hammam experience or simply rest and reflect.

In the evening, we come together for a hands on Moroccan cooking class, sharing laughter, learning, and a meal prepared together. A beautiful balance of knowledge, culture, and connection.

Day 4 - Cultural Fes

Craft, Connection and Spiritual Gathering

Today invites creativity and presence. We begin with a pottery workshop, connecting with Morocco’s rich artisanal traditions and slowing down through mindful creation. The afternoon offers free time to explore, shop, or simply rest.

As the evening unfolds, we gather for a special spiritual program with Shaykh Hisham, a space of reflection, remembrance, and reconnection. The night closes with dinner and a soulful nasheed performance, leaving hearts uplifted and full.

Day 5 - Meknes & Zerhoun

Islamic History and Devotion

Today we step beyond Fes for a meaningful day trip to Meknes and Zerhoun, lands rich with Islamic history and barakah. As we explore, Shaykh Hisham will guide us through reflections on the virtues of Ahlul Bayt, deepening our understanding and love.

As night falls, we gather in a zawiya for the recitation of Dalail al Khayrat, a deeply moving spiritual experience rooted in love for the Prophet ﷺ. We return to Fes for dinner and rest, carrying the light of the day with us.

Day 6 - Chefchaouen

Journey to the Blue City

After breakfast, we depart Fes and journey north to the serene mountain town of Chefchaouen. Known for its iconic blue washed streets and peaceful atmosphere, this town offers a gentle shift in pace and energy.

Upon arrival, we check into our riad and head out for a guided walking tour through the town, wandering its quiet alleys and soaking in its unique charm. As the sun begins to set, we gather for a moment of reflection overlooking the mountains, a chance to pause, breathe, and take it all in.

Day 7 - Akchour

Nature and Stillness

Today we step into the beauty of nature with a visit to the breathtaking Akchour waterfalls. Enjoy a gentle walk through lush landscapes, flowing water, and fresh mountain air, a refreshing and grounding experience.

The afternoon offers free time to rest, explore, or journal. In the evening, we come together for a heartfelt farewell dinner followed by our closing Sakinah program, a space to reflect on the journey, honour the connections made, and carry these moments forward.

Farewell Morocco

After breakfast, we check out and begin our return journey to Casablanca. Before departure, we visit the magnificent Hassan II Masjid, a powerful and awe inspiring space to conclude our time together. This visit may alternatively take place on Day 1 depending on arrival times.

With hearts full and memories etched deeply, we transfer to the airport for departure, carrying with us not just souvenirs, but a renewed sense of faith, sisterhood, and presence.
